World Environment Day 2025 – A Step Towards a Greener Future

June 5, 2025 – Today, on World Environment Day, a powerful message of hope and responsibility echoed across our community as GNRC Youth Coordinator, St. Mary Public School, and Agape International came together to take meaningful action for the planet.
In a collaborative effort to combat climate change and promote environmental awareness, the team planted trees as a symbol of their commitment to a greener, cleaner future for all. This initiative served not only as an environmental action but also as an educational moment to inspire young minds to care for and protect the Earth.

Throughout the day, participants raised awareness about:
🌱 The urgent need to address climate change
🌿 The benefits of reforestation and green spaces
🚯 The critical importance of ending plastic pollution
📜 The role of environmental laws in safeguarding our natural resources

The event emphasized that every individual and institution has a role to play in protecting our planet. A joint pledge was made to:

Continue planting trees and greening communities

Support efforts to eliminate plastic waste

Uphold and advocate for environmental protection laws

Educate others, especially children and youth, about sustainable living

World Environment Day 2025 reminded us that small actions, when taken together, can create a lasting impact. We are proud to stand united with our partners in the pursuit of a sustainable and healthy world.

Let us all continue to care for the only home we have—our Earth.
